But the American public loves Larry's story. He goes on
national television shows like The David Letterman
Show to
talk about his adventure.
Later Larry says "It was something I had to do. I had
this dream for twenty years". He has only one
regret. ‘The view was
amazing,’ he says later. ‘But I forgot
to take any photos.’
Sadly, Larry ended his own life
in 1993.
